Sophie Shapiro is a Nevada girl who grew up in California, dancing, singing, and acting her way through life. She got her start at 11, winning a scholarship to train at the Joffrey Ballet School’s Musical Theater Program in New York, where Broadway instantly became her happy place. A UCLA grad with a degree in Musical Theater, Sophie is all about the power of storytelling and how it brings people together.

Whether she’s channeling her competitive dance roots or jamming with her band The Painted Ladies, Sophie brings a blend of raw passion and joy to whatever she's working on. It’s her “Disney smile” that makes her shine on stage—a contagious spark that energizes even the most serious scenes.

When she’s not performing, you’ll find Sophie getting lost in a good book, trying (and failing) at rock climbing, or off on some new adventure—because, as any performer knows, the best stories are still out there to be told.
